It’s Not Just Epstein. Open Predation of Teen Girls is Constant.
The Wall Street Journal just came out with some new reporting on meetings Epstein had with major financial, political and academic figures after he became a convicted sex offender. These include William Burns, the president of Bard College, and even Noam Chomsky, which is really unfortunate to see.
One of the themes that has unfolded across all the various evidence exposed, is that Epstein literally was with these girls he was trafficking, at and during these all of these public events and scenarios, over decades. This happened again and again. He was seen over and over again with young girls. And no one did anything.
Leon Botstein, president at Bard, took Epstein on-campus — Epstein “brought a group of young female guests”.
Here is at least a more honest account than we have gotten from some of the others:
“Several people who visited Epstein during this time period said they noticed young women at his townhouse. One of the visitors, Helen Fisher, an anthropologist who studies romantic love and attachment, had lunch with Epstein in January 2016 to discuss her work. Dr. Fisher said that after the lunch, Epstein invited her to speak with his staff. ‘And then, in filed, I would say, six young women,’ she said. ‘All of them good looking. All of them young.’”
And again here:
“Mr. Botstein, also the longtime music director for the American Symphony Orchestra, invited Epstein to an opera at Bard in 2013, then a concert at the college in 2016, the documents indicate. Epstein planned each time to bring some of his young female assistants and arrive by helicopter.”
This struck a major cord with me. If you’ve been following my work on pedophilia, you’ll remember our discussion about how teen girls are not considered to be victims of pedophilia, even though pedophiles constantly target teenage girls specifically. This permits this space of open displays of pedophilia and sexual abuse. I covered a few cases of this in a recent post on the subject. All of the celebrities that are out all the time with young girls fall into this bracket as well — Scott Disick, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jared Leto stand out. No one thinks that the girl is being abused — they are more likely to think she is gold digger, that this is what she asked for, etc. In fact, people categorically deny that teen girls can be victims of pedophiles at all.
People ignoring Epstein having young girls around, is a pattern that plays out in many pedophile attacks on teen girls. And pedophiles often enjoy flaunting their relationships with teen girls, as getting away with it and displaying it is part of what they are getting out of it.
This is not just in the lifestyles of the rich and famous. When I was attacked and trapped with a pedophile who was 45 at the time (I was in high school), he actually eventually introduced me to a couple of his friends who he had over for cocktails. Always cosmopolitans. Looking back, my heart breaks that these adults saw this happen and did nothing. I was so young. Didn’t even ask me if I was OK. Didn’t try to warn me. Didn’t tell him to leave me the fuck alone.
How could they do that to the girl that I was? How could they KNOW that I was being preyed on by him — and he was a pretty scary guy, who murdered someone over the course of the “relationship” (unknown to me) — and didn’t help? One of them, her name was Susan, and she was a woman. Women say nothing. Women are complicit too.
There are often so, so many ways to stop a pedophile, so many opportunities that will come up over the course of the offending. Thousands of people, I mean I can’t even imagine with all the parties and stuff, it could be tens of thousands, clearly saw with their own eyes, Epstein with young girls. He was known for this.
The type of culture-wide hatred for teen girls that has to be in place, in order to allow this to happen, is nauseating. This is HATE of teen girls. You know how sex workers are often viewed as “un-rapeable”, I.e., it is impossible to rape them because they signed up for it / are getting paid for it and so forth? It reminds me of this logic because in both cases the victim is seen as inherently not a victim, could not possibly be a victim, and in fact, may be the aggressor.
More than complicity, there is an element of sadism to this community process — she deserves it, this is what she wanted, well she just wanted his money. As if the abuse itself is the punishment for something that the girl did wrong, when this could not be further from the case. Dismantling pedophilia also means dismantling the culture of hatred of teen girls, and the culture of apathy towards attacks on them, and the normalizing of these “relationships” as such.
Here again, Epstein is seen as an extreme outlier. But this happens all the time. Teenage girls are being abused by pedophiles IN PUBLIC as NORMAL practice, that is accepted as normal and fine by the adults all around. This hate of teen girls is what allows the pedophile to feed.
Pedophilia is, too often, a community crime.
